Arch colour blocking is all the rage now for boho interiors which is why we have been busy little ducks creating our very own Boho Stencil Collection

A colour block arch on its own is really popular but why not jazz it up a little.  We have added in a sun stencil and a peeking palm leaf stencil so you can create your very own tropical boho feature wall!

SIZES

We have Small and Large kits available.  There are 5 stencils included in the kit.
See the 3rd product image for individual stencil sizes.

HOW TO STENCIL

Video tutorial coming very soon!  But in the meantime...

1.  Use the largest semi-circle stencil to create the largest arch.  Place the stencil on the wall using masking tape, ensuring it is straight with a spirit level, then apply paint with a small dense sponge roller.  Apply masking tape vertically down each side of the arch and paint inside the tape.  You don't need to paint all the way into the centre as your inner arch will be stencilled in that space.

2.  Create the smaller inner arch using smaller semi-circle stencil in the same way as you created the larger arch.

3.  Use the quarter-circle line stencil to create a shadow effect, again using masking tape to create the vertical part of the shadow.  Refer to the main image to see where to place the shadow.

4.  Create the sun on the inner arch using the circle stencil.

5.  Finally use the leaf stencil to create the protruding leaf pattern and hey presto!  There you have an abstract boho wall design!

Basic stencil instructions are included with each purchase.  But please do Get In Touch if you have any questions at all.

LESS IS MORE!
The number one mistake most people make when stencilling for the first time is using way too much paint, this leads to bleeding under the stencil, and no one wants fuzzy lines! It’s surprising how little paint you actually need. Apply a small amount of paint to your roller, and then roll off any excess paint on a scrap bit of paper/card. Your sponge needs to be touch dry, so paint only comes through when you apply pressure. The same applies when using a stencil brush. Practice first on some spare paper or card before attempting your project.
