DIY Subway bathroom and kitchen tiles on a budget! Our stencils provide a super cost effective way to decorate your home. Create a subway tile wall or floor with our METRO TILE Stencil, the cut out parts of this design are the grout lines, which ideal to use if you want white tiles and a darker grout line. Just paint your wall white and stencil in a dark grey or matt black for a fresh clean look. (We also do the reverse of this design where the stencil is the actual tile, which is better if you want a white grout line and a darker tile. Just search Subway Tile.)
Once stenciled the tile size is 20 x 8 cm (7.8 x 3.1 inches). (see product images for more details on stencil size).
With every order we include extra smaller stencils for getting into edges, corners and tricky areas.
We are happy to adjust the size at NO EXTRA COST. Just message us with your request before you order.
HOW TO STENCIL
Basic stenciling instructions are included with every order. For more detailed instructions please visit: https://dizzyduckdesigns.com/pages/how-to-stencil
The number one mistake most people make when stenciling for the first time is using way TOO MUCH PAINT. This leads to paint bleeding under the stencil, and no one wants fuzzy lines! It’s surprising how little paint you actually need. Apply a small amount of paint to your roller, and then roll off any excess paint on a scrap bit of paper/card. Your roller needs to be touch dry, so paint only comes through when you apply pressure. The same applies when using a stencil brush. Practice first on an old cereal box before attempting your project.
